Fixes for the most common Explore problems.
I can’t see Explore in my account.
Explore is included in the free trial and in Business, and is an add-on on Pro. It is not part of the free plan once the trial ends. Check your plan, and if it should include Explore, refresh the page or log out and back in. Still stuck? Get in touch.
Explore doesn’t show insights for a tape.
Make sure the tape has finished transcribing, and that Explore is switched on. Insights come from the other tapes in the context you chose, so a new account with only one or two tapes has little context to produce insights from.
Explore didn’t find something I know I recorded.
Check the context first. If it is set to a single project or tape, the answer may sit elsewhere in your archive. Then try asking in a different way, name the person or subject, and choose Refresh topics.
A topic is missing a passage or has a wrong one.
Open the source tape and check the passage in context.
The answer names the wrong speaker.
Speaker labels are detected automatically and can be mislabeled, especially when voices are similar. Rename or correct the speakers in the transcript, then check the attribution against the recording.
I can’t see a colleague’s recordings.
Explore only searches what colleagues have shared with you. Ask them to share the transcript or the project, and check that the share hasn’t been revoked.
The AI’s answer looks wrong.
AI tools can misread, summarize inaccurately or hallucinate details. Every Explore answer shows the tape and timestamp it came from: open the source and check the original before you use it.
My AI tool can’t reach my archive through the MCP.
See Get started with your AI tool in the Connect your MCP section, or go to Settings, then Account, then Manage MCP, disconnect and reconnect.
