Before you start, you'll need:
- An iPhone running iOS 16 or later, or an Android phone running Android 10 or later
- A Good Tape account, no account yet? No worries, you can create one right inside the app!
- A quiet spot and a few minutes for a test recording
If your team uses SSO, you can sign in with your work account straight from the sign-in screen.
Step 1: Install the app
- iPhone: Download from the App Store
- Android: Download from the Google Play Store
Once you open the app for the first time, it'll ask for permission to use your microphone and send notifications. Say yes to both, they're what make the magic happen!
Your privacy is safe with us: We never use your recordings to train AI or for anything other than transcribing for you. Your audio is encrypted before it leaves your phone and stored securely in your Good Tape account.
Step 2: Sign in or create an account
You're almost there! Sign in with your existing Good Tape email and password, or create a new account right from the app.
