Good Tape now connects directly to ChatGPT via MCP (Model Context Protocol), so you can ask ChatGPT anything about your transcripts right from your account.
How to connect Good Tape to ChatGPT
Step 1: Check your plan
- On a Plus or Pro plan? You can activate Developer Mode and add the custom MCP connector yourself.
- On a Business, Enterprise, or Edu plan? Your workspace admin needs to enable Developer Mode first.
Step 2: Connect Good Tape
- Make sure you're logged into your Good Tape account
- Open ChatGPT
- Turn on Developer Mode: go to Settings → Connectors → Advanced settings → Developer Mode
- Add the connector: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Add new connector
- Type in "Good Tape"
- Paste in: https://app.goodtape.io/mcp
- Authorize via OAuth
- Toggle the connector on in the chat's tools menu
- Start a new chat
- Ask ChatGPT anything about your transcripts
